Aberflyarf Rugby History is a site exploring some of the club and international tours that visited Wales and the UK and some varied and interesting histories about Welsh rugby.
Many touring side came to Wales before the game went Professionalism in 1995. They ranged from the famous All Blacks tours to club tours from developing rugby nations. Sadly, these tours rarely happen nowadays as Leagues, Cups and International commitments take priority leaving little space in the fixture calendar.
Coming soon will be a few Rugby Heritage Trails looking at Rugby sites of interest in our towns and villages.
The site is by a Librarian and now Level 1 WRU Coach. My interest in the game rekindled by a son who like me, became fanatical with the game, at a very young age.
